I like the pick. Their target was obviously the goalie buy once he was taken, and there was no trade that made sense, so you take the BPA

I'm not sure it's clear at all that Bowers was the BPA... from what I read leading up to the draft, all of Hague, Ratcliffe, Timmins, and Robertson probably should have been taken beforehand. What Bowers was at that point in the draft was the highest rated center, which would suggest a selection based on positional need as opposed to BPA. Personally, I would have gone with Timmins, but we'll see how things play out.

I'm also not sure about taking Formerton ahead of Comtois in the 2nd round... that certainly wasn't a BPA decision, but there were obviously reasons that Comtois fell which must have been a significant concern.
